The Vision

As WA's leading regional city, a visionary concept has been developed to transform the waterfront into a sought-after coastal destination adding to Bunbury’s reputation as a wonderful place to live, work and play.

The current vision includes the development of four precincts with the working titles – Eastside, Bayside, Oceanside and Harbourside.

The many benefits include an enhanced public waterfront, walkways and cycleways with a new marina.

Bunbury Waterfront will connect the city with the waterfront with improved boating facilities and open public access.

A range of retail outlets, restaurants and cafés are proposed. Additional office and tourist accommodation and greater residential options are planned to create a thriving, community hub.

The project aims to attract and retain skilled workers to the region and support and enhance benefits to existing businesses.
